Event Posters

The Project: Using a modular grid system, curate two typographic posters in vertical and horizontal orientations for a fictional event at MoMA Museum. Use only black, white, and one other color of choice.

The colors orange and purple were chosen for these compositions to enhance the idea of a fun music event while keeping it sophisticated and clean. Some of the negative space is occupied with simple rectangular lines, and movement flows on the page through the differing height of the numbers of the year. Hierarchy is present through the chunking technique, using bold and italic fonts, and capitalizing important information.
